About The Event

From October 31st to November 2nd it is considered that "the invisible veils are at the thinnest" meaning it is easier to communicate with our loved ones in spirit, honoring their lives and their legacy within our families and lineage.

Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a holiday celebrated throughout the Americas and combines ancestral traditions and modern celebrations. In this day, Saturday, November 2nd, we will remember and honor the ones that have departed and call them to impart their wisdom.

Colorful and vibrant, we will celebrate this day displaying traditional motifs and our loved ones' pictures in our sacred altar.

Gathered in ceremony we will receive blissful messages from spirit and blow our prayers by the candlelights.

We will gather at the Noons Creek Hatchery in Port Moody, a beautiful site in nature that belongs to the unceded territory of the Salish People.

What to bring?

* Some meaningful offerings for Mother Earth and our ancestors (flowers, incense, fruits, nuts, chocolate, etc).

* Pictures of your loved ones in spirit to be blessed at the Altar (you will take them back home with you after the ceremony).

* If you feel inspired, prepare a poem, a letter, a dance or a song honoring the loved ones in your family.

** Please note this event has limited capacity, please confirm your assistance with anticipation.**

$25 ( incl taxes).

***Part of the profits will be donated to The Noons Creek Hatchery work protecting our natural resources.
