Distant Sessions

We are truly never separate

Does Healing Require Proximity?

When we think about receiving care, we often imagine two people sharing the same physical space.

We associate presence with nearness, with being able to see, hear or touch one another.

For some forms of care, physical proximity is essential.

But the work I do during a distant session is not primarily based on physically manipulating the body.

It is based on intentional connection: listening to the information being expressed through the body-mind and following the priorities that appear ready to receive attention.

That communication does not disappear when the person is no longer in the room.

A distant session is not a lesser version of an in-person session. It is another way of meeting.

The question, then, is not simply how healing can be sent across a distance.

It is whether the separation we perceive between us is as absolute as it appears to be.

Beyond The Appearance Of Separation

Quantum physics opens many doors to understanding the true nature of reality.

At the level of ordinary perception, we experience ourselves as distinct physical bodies occupying different places. Yet what appears solid and separate to our senses is not necessarily an accurate picture of reality at its deeper levels.

Modern physics has profoundly challenged the old image of matter as a collection of isolated, solid objects. Quantum field theory describes particles as expressions of underlying fields, while quantum entanglement has demonstrated that parts of a system can remain correlated in ways that cannot be explained through ordinary local separation.

Quantum physics hasn't been able to prove distant healing yet, nor do I need it to certify what traditional medicine has understood for generations. But it does challenge the assumption that physical distance necessarily means complete disconnection.

Long before laboratories could observe quantum phenomena, many Indigenous and ancestral traditions, including the traditions from my homeland in Peru, understood life as an interconnected field.

Different cultures have used different language for it: the One Mind, the One Soul, the living web, the unseen world or the field of consciousness from which all life emerges.

These are not identical explanations, and one does not need to be reduced to the language of the other. I honour them as different ways of approaching a reality that may be far more relational and interconnected than our physical senses alone suggest.

From this understanding, a distant session does not begin by trying to bridge a separation. It begins by entering consciously into a relationship that already exists.

Living, Receiving, Signaling

The human body is not a sealed container, isolated from everything around it.

We are constantly receiving and responding to information: light, sound, temperature, movement, language, emotion, relationship and the conditions of our environment. Our nervous systems and biological processes are continually interpreting signals and adjusting to them.

Human beings are living antennas.

Our bodies are composed largely of water and contain iron, mineral salts and many other conductive elements.

We are electrically active organisms, communicating through complex electrochemical signals while participating in relationships and environments that continuously affect us.

This analogy does not, by itself, explain distant healing. It reminds us that the body is not inert matter. It is a dynamic, responsive and communicative living system.

Traditional healing systems also recognize dimensions of human experience that extend beyond what can be perceived through the five physical senses. They speak of energy, spirit, subtle fields, ancestral connections and consciousness, not as abstract ideas, but as aspects of life that can be experienced, observed and worked with.

During a distant session, I enter an intentional state of expanded awareness. I establish a clear connection with the person who has requested the work and listen for the information their body-mind is presenting.

This is not pushing energy across an empty space. It is tuning attention within a field of relationship in which the person is already present.

They are not absent from the session. They are present in a different way.

My trust in distant work did not develop from theory alone.

It has grown through hundreds of experiences: information arising during sessions that clients later verified; physical or emotional responses occurring while the work was underway; and meaningful changes noticed before, during and after sessions, even when the client did not know exactly what I was addressing at the time.

There have been occasions when a client has described a sensation, memory, emotion or shift corresponding closely with what emerged during the session. At other times, the effect has become apparent gradually through changes in how the person feels, responds or experiences a familiar situation.

Some people notice something important or dramatic quite quickly.

Others become aware of subtler changes unfolding over the following days. Many experience both: a clear initial shift followed by smaller adjustments as the work continues to integrate.

That accumulated experience is not the same as lab proof, and I would not present it as such. But neither is it meaningless.

It is a substantial body of repeated, observed and confirmed experiences that deserves to be honored rather than dismissed simply because its mechanism is not yet fully understood.

There is still much we do not know about consciousness, the body and the ways human beings communicate beyond words.

I do not see that uncertainty as a reason to disregard what we experience.

I see it as an invitation to remain curious, grounded enough to observe carefully and open enough to recognize that reality may be larger than our current explanations.

What Experience Has Shown Me

How Does A Distant Session work?

New to Distant Work

Complete an intake form. Optionally, a 15–20 minute live conversation to review it and answer questions before we disconnect and I begin the session independently.

Familiar with Distant Work

Book your session and send a brief email describing your present concerns. I proceed with the session at the arranged time. No initial call needed.

After the Session

I share the insights that emerged and the balances that were made, through email or voice message, plus after care and follow up instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Different Way To Meet

Distance may change the form of our interaction, but it does not remove the possibility of meaningful connection.

For some people, distant work makes receiving a session possible when travel, health, location or scheduling would otherwise create a barrier. For others, it simply offers a quieter and more comfortable way to receive support within their own space.

Whether we meet physically or from a distance, the foundation of the work remains the same:
We listen to what is present, follow the wisdom of the body-mind and create space for a different possibility to emerge.
